Science Parties

For over 10 years, Mad Scientist Productions has entertained children (and more than a few adults) with science parties.   Our philosophy is simple, do stuff.  We don’t fill out time during our science parties with long demonstrations and shows, where you sit and watch experiments or magic tricks.  Our parties are hands on and  everyone will be doing the experiments.

Choose from 2 different party themes  Oozology or Flying and Fizz.  Both themes are suitable for ages 6-12 and are almost entirely hands on.

Lab coats and safety glasses will be provided to all scientists undertaking the experiments.

Choose between:

OOZOLOGY

Make and take with you a  variety of different slimes, make colourful slime worms, glow in the dark slime, expanding “Snow”  fake snot and others.  If it is oozy and just a little bit gross well we will give it a go.

This is by far our most popular activity  and is popular for both boys and girls of all ages (and some parents too!).

FIZZ AND FLYING

Make model rockets that can fly!  During this session children will make some basic rockets to understand the design concepts and then will move on to a fizz powered rocket that can fly several metres high.

Note:  This session needs an outdoor area and can’t be done indoors.

Pricing

$280 for 15 children,  extra children to a maximum of 20, $18 per child.  Price also includes a science kit for the birthday child.
